About The Position

What you’ll do: Primary Functions: • Identifies and implements strategies to improve productivity through Continuous Improvement initiatives and Lean tools. Essential Functions: • Perform Lean tools trainings • Execute VSM events for plant and processes • Develop Lean Kaizen events schedule and support implementation • Consolidate OEE and provide improvement opportunities per process • Support Command Center /iObeya systems • Submit status of CI initiatives to Divisional team • Kanban database management • Conduct / support CI events for the plant • Backup supervisor for Tool Room • Establish strategy for Lean maturity process • Train personnel as required • Complete Lean self-assessment, Plant Maturity level and other reports to communicate to the Divisional Level • Coordinate or perform Operational Outstanding events • Support CI competencies development by supporting training plan • Interfaces with Supervisors and Manufacturing Engineers • Assures the company policies are met based on Eaton’s Philosophy and Code of Ethics • Must be a proactive, dynamic, high energy, results-focused individual with strong leadership skills. • Ensure to apply the Eaton Leadership Model as part to the CI deployment and implementations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering
  • At least three years experience in CI and Lean tools
  • Project Management

  • Tooling
  • Technical understanding of manufactured products
  • Knowledge of standards such as: NEC, ANSI, UL, CSA

  • Machinery or equipment shutdown
  • Material handling
