About The Position

Eaton’s Power Components Division is currently seeking an OPEX Manager. This is an on-site position based at our Beaver, PA location. Relocation assistance will be provided to candidates currently residing within the US/PR. The expected annual salary range for this role is $123750.0 - $181500.0 a year. This position is also eligible for a variable incentive program. Please note the salary information shown above is a general guideline only. Salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations. We’re seeking an experienced Operational Excellence Manager to lead manufacturing engineering and continuous improvement initiatives at our Beaver Plant. This role is part of the Plant Leadership Team and is responsible for driving performance improvements through Lean, Six Sigma, and Eaton Business System (EBS) methodologies.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in manufacturing, operations, Lean and/or continuous improvement

  • Excellent knowledge of engineering problem solving and quality techniques as well as sound understanding of production, inventory, financial principles.
  • Excellent working knowledge of Lean Enterprise, Lean manufacturing, and JIT

Responsibilities

  • Lead Manufacturing Engineering and CI teams to develop safe, efficient, and sustainable processes.
  • Drive continuous improvement using EBS, ELSS, EQS, ECIS, and MESH frameworks.
  • Champion cost-out initiatives and process optimization.
  • Manage capital projects and long-term planning in collaboration with Finance and Purchasing.
  • Support new product development and implementation.
  • Lead root cause analysis and corrective actions to reduce process variation.
  • Provide technical support to sister sites (Evansville and Beckley).
  • Recruit, train, and develop engineering staff.
  • Communicate strategic goals and progress effectively across teams.
