About The Position

Initiate and facilitate successful Kaizen events / Continuous Improvement Events, and BPIs for the Arden AVL facility. Utilize Lean and Six Sigma tools to eliminate waste driving customer satisfaction, cost reduction, and improved working capital performance. Coach, mentor, develop and conduct performance reviews for your direct reports. Help achieve the sites factory cost out goals. Provide regular ELSS/CI status updates to the senior leadership team. Work cross functionally with other departments (Quality, EHS, Operations, Engineering, SCM, etc.) to achieve the sites operational goals. Drive employee engagement through IDEAS program and participation in CI activities. Maintain Annual Improvement Plan and assist in monitoring the Annual Operating Plan Maintain Process audit and CI Points Pyramid processes

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business or Technical field from an accredited institution
  • Minimum of 3 years of manufacturing / continuous improvement experience
  • Minimum of 1 year experience managing people and/or leading project teams
  • No relocation is offered for this position. All candidates must currently reside within 70 miles, to be considered. Active-Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation.
  • Six Sigma Certified (Green Belt, Black Belt)
  • Demonstrated proficiency in communication skills (written, verbal, computer) required.
  • Demonstrated proficiency with basic manufacturing tools such as Lean, Six-Sigma, problem solving/decision making.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to support customer and manufacturing requirements.
  • Ability to influence and lead all levels of leadership
