EGW is looking for a Full Time OQ Compliance Evaluator (Bil-Lingual Preferred)! EGW is searching for a candidate from the pipeline industry who has Natural Gas Operations experience to become a Compliance Trainer/Evaluator. Successful candidate will assist EGW in providing our client's employees with training, proctoring, and performance evaluations to assure the requirements of their Operator Qualification (OQ) Programs are met. Additionally, candidate must be qualified to provide training and certification in various Polyethylene (PE) fusion and joining procedures. Who is EGW Utility Solutions? Our company's purpose is to Solve Problems, Make Connections, and Serve Others Position Summary The OQ Evaluator is responsible for providing Operator Qualification training and performance evaluations of covered tasks for EGW's field services personnel and EGW clients. The primary area of responsibility for an OQ Evaluator is to provide compliant Operator Qualification proctoring, poly-fusion training and certifications and conduct performance evaluations. The majority of the scheduled OQ sessions will be performed in the DFW Metroplex, however overnight travel (15%) may be required. Additionally, the primary area of responsibility is coordinating scheduled covered task proctoring & performance evaluations with contractors in an efficient manner that minimizes the employee's time away from work while still meeting all the Operator's program requirements and providing an OQ program that is of high quality and upholds the highest level of integrity. An OQ Evaluator will have the skills and ability to grow in the role to become a reputable point person for contractor clients. An Evaluator will have outreach responsibilities to solicit additional clients and build relationships within the natural gas services community. This position will assist with the design and construction of simulation stations and tasks to be used for OQ work in Carrollton, TX, and various other areas. Responsible for the quality of EGW's contractor, field service, and utility training, certifications, and Operator Qualification services. Provides code compliant technical training for EGW personnel, customers, and evaluators to meet the needs of EGW's provided services. The OQ Evaluator may be the only contact EGW customers have. Therefore, assuring seamless coordination of scheduling, facilities, equipment, training, and customer service exceed customer's expectations. This position must work to ensure overall operational efficiencies and to assure the high quality of service provided by EGW. Having an extensive knowledge of the industry's operator qualification and training needs, governmental regulations, and maintaining industry contacts is critical to the success of this position. The OQ Evaluator will assist in representing EGW's Services division and its needs relative to company decision making and improvement initiatives. This position is responsible for attending and contributing to inter-organizational meetings.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of 3 or more years of OQ and Training experience
  • Proven experience meeting or exceeding goals
  • Proven ability to develop long term relationships with industry peers.
  • Excellent listening, presentation, training skills
  • Experienced skills using Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Reliable mode of transportation- ability to work the hours of operation for this role
  • As a trainer in a Safety-Sensitive position, pre- and post-employment screenings, including but not limited to drug testing as outlined by the Department of Transportation (DOT) and Pipeline & Hazardous Materials Safety Administration (PHMSA), and motor vehicle record (MVR) background checks are required.

Nice To Haves

Responsibilities

  • Creates and maintains strong relationships with key client stakeholders, the natural gas services community, governmental agencies, Operator Qualifications providers and other vendors within the service delivery industry.
  • Partners with customers to understand their business needs and objectives.
  • Works with the Compliance Manager, Field Services Manager, and the Service Delivery Administrator to manage the implementation and coordination of training and evaluation service operations, and any action plans which promote growth in the Service Delivery department.
  • Assists in the development and execution of EGW's strategy and plans for Compliance, Training, and Field Services.
  • Maintains and/or obtains all self-qualifications and certifications necessary to perform the functions of a qualified EGW OQ Evaluator and participates in providing these services in that capacity.
  • Ensures strict adherence to EGW's safety policies and standards by its clients, contractors, and employees when involved in compliance services activities.
  • Assist in Training and OQ for our EGW workforce.
