As our Operator in Training, you will take part in a 12‑month program that prepares you to become a MISO System Operator supporting grid reliability across a 15‑state region. You will build core knowledge of the energy industry and power system through a structured curriculum and development activities. You will then apply and reinforce these concepts through practical learning experiences that ready you for work in the control room. You will build meaningful connections with experienced control room operators and industry professionals who will share their knowledge as you progress through the program. You’ll work within a collaborative team focused on common goals and shared results. You will successfully complete the required certifications and training to become a desk-qualified control room operator and work.
