Job Purpose To operate and maintain granulation equipment used to process recyclable metals safely and efficiently in support of Sibanye Stillwater Reldan’s mission of environmental responsibility and resource recovery.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Ability to read and follow written and oral instructions and safety procedures.
  • Reliable, safety conscious, and team oriented.
  • Comfortable working in a production environment with noise, dust, and physical activity.
  • Employment in this position requires compliance with NAID (National Association for Information Destruction) standards and ITAR (International Traffic in Arms Regulations) requirements. Candidates must meet all applicable compliance criteria to be eligible for employment.

Nice To Haves

  • Machine operation or a mechanical or electrical background is helpful.
  • Forklift experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Weigh and record incoming scrap material accurately.
  • Feed scrap material through the granulator system.
  • Perform routine and preventative maintenance on granulation equipment.
  • Cross train and assist in additional plant operations as needed.
  • Keep all work areas clean, organized, and free of debris.
  • Enter basic data into the system for tracking and production purposes.
  • Follow all safety guidelines and use all required PPE.
  • Stand, walk, bend, and lift materials throughout the full shift including lifting up to 100 lbs.
  • Operate forklifts if trained; experience is a plus.
