Our Opportunity We are looking for a Location manager for our Hughes, AR Retail Location . Our culture fosters a connected work environment, employee engagement, and career development . Summary/Objective Performs tasks essential to agricultural operations at a retail warehouse. Coordinates inbound/outbound deliveries, packs and loads product using a forklift, cleans and organizes storage areas, assists with cycle counts, and maintains a safe, clean work area. Essential Functions Follow all safety regulations and guidelines Handle and store hazardous materials (pesticides, fertilizers, chemicals) in compliance with safety regulations. Use appropriate PPE (gloves, goggles, protective clothing) when working with hazardous materials. Ensures equipment is in good, working condition; reports any discrepancies to site leadership; follows all safety regulations and guidelines Ensure correct labeling, secure storage, and proper segregation of hazardous materials. Regularly inspect and maintain safety equipment; know their locations for emergencies. Primarily responsible for equipment operations. Responsible for carrying out various assigned physical duties necessary in the operation of the facility. Responsible for performing the various general labor, maintenance, and some administrative duties of the plant in an efficient and safe manner. Safely and efficiently operates equipment to load product for transport to trucks and/or rail cars. Understands and follows logical sequence of loading and unloading trucks and/or rail cars and hand palletizing finished product. Inspects machinery and equipment for safe operation prior to operating, performs preventive maintenance and repair as assigned and capable; ensures equipment is in good, working condition. Maintains a quality and professional image with customers and is responsive to their needs. Cleans work area and works carefully to avoid damage to product, plant, and equipment. Cross-trains to fill other positions for as needed. Assists other plant/warehouse workers in various physical duties necessary in running an agricultural location Ability to safely and effectively operate several pieces of equipment . Understands all aspects and areas of facility and how work impacts others. Able to troubleshoot needs and repairs on own with little to no external vendor support. Ability to mentor, train, and help others in the facility. Assists location managers with budgeting and ideas for improving efficiency. Can effectively fill in for others as needed.
