The Opportunity This position works out of our St. Paul, MN location in the Abbott Vascular Devices division.

Requirements

  • 1–3 years’ experience in a cleanroom environment
  • Previous experience using microscopes
  • Ability to speak, read, and write English
  • Understanding of SOPs, FDA, and GMP guidelines preferred
  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Must gown up daily: hair net, beard net (if applicable), shoe covers, safety glasses
  • Ability to stand for long periods
  • Ability to lift up to 25 lbs. without issue
  • Reliability and punctuality
  • Flexibility to work and train in multiple departments
  • Ability to learn processes and follow detailed instructions
  • Willingness to adapt to different workstations (no inflexibility)

Nice To Haves

  • Medical device assembly experience preferred
  • Understanding of SOPs, FDA, and GMP guidelines preferred

Responsibilities

  • Assemble medical device products with precision and accuracy
  • Work within a cleanroom following strict SOPs, GMP, and FDA guidelines
  • Utilize microscopes regularly for inspection and assembly (must‑have skill)
  • Inspect, test, package, and box products as needed
  • Rotate and cross‑train across various workstations; flexibility is required
  • Follow detailed rules, guidelines, and quality standards
  • Stand for extended periods; lift up to 25 lbs
  • Report to work on time and adhere to the assigned shift schedule
  • Use tools such as electrical torque drivers and screwdrivers
  • Complete multi‑week training across departments
