The Opportunity This position works out of our St. Paul, MN location in the Abbott Vascular Devices division.
Requirements
- 1–3 years’ experience in a cleanroom environment
- Previous experience using microscopes
- Ability to speak, read, and write English
- Understanding of SOPs, FDA, and GMP guidelines preferred
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Must gown up daily: hair net, beard net (if applicable), shoe covers, safety glasses
- Ability to stand for long periods
- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs. without issue
- Reliability and punctuality
- Flexibility to work and train in multiple departments
- Ability to learn processes and follow detailed instructions
- Willingness to adapt to different workstations (no inflexibility)
Nice To Haves
- Medical device assembly experience preferred
- Understanding of SOPs, FDA, and GMP guidelines preferred
Responsibilities
- Assemble medical device products with precision and accuracy
- Work within a cleanroom following strict SOPs, GMP, and FDA guidelines
- Utilize microscopes regularly for inspection and assembly (must‑have skill)
- Inspect, test, package, and box products as needed
- Rotate and cross‑train across various workstations; flexibility is required
- Follow detailed rules, guidelines, and quality standards
- Stand for extended periods; lift up to 25 lbs
- Report to work on time and adhere to the assigned shift schedule
- Use tools such as electrical torque drivers and screwdrivers
- Complete multi‑week training across departments
