About The Position

Under minimal direction, independently operates production equipment in various areas of manufacturing. Able to fill in for other positions in the plant.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Computer efficiency required.
• Candidates must have demonstrated experience with and knowledge of safety.
• Candidates must possess sound verbal and written communication skills.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in a production/manufacturing environment is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Review batch tickets; read, understand, and follow.
• Provide samples to lab.
• Pack product into designated containers.
• Report near miss incidents and improvement opportunities.
• Equipment cleaning, tub washing, plant cleaning and waste disposal.
• Forklift operation.
• Labeling containers.
• SAP inventory look-up.
• Gather and weigh ingredients. (Scale operation)
• Operate dust collector equipment.
• Participate on plant teams.
• Stock rotation / Minimization of partial containers.
• Ingredient traceability.
• Operate and trouble shoot mixing equipment.
• Combine ingredients in designated sequence.
• Training others.
• SAP CORK duties.
• Preliminary quality checks.
• Wear appropriate PPE at all times.
• Maintain a clean work area and work safely.
• Participate actively in all plant safety initiatives, programs, and training sessions.
• Follow all standard operating procedures with respect to performance of position duties.
• Stay updated on all applicable procedures.
