Operates the various process equipment including but not limited to, sawdust dump, sawdust dryer, evaporator, & furnaces in a safe, efficient manner to produce liquid smoke to meet customer commitments, company objectives and quality standards.
Requirements
- To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
- Ability kneel, bend, squat, stoop, carry, reach, stand, grip, push, pull, arm extensions and perform elevated work.
- Ability to lift 50 pounds.
- Ability to work overtime and use a flexible schedule.
- PFT & respirator fit test required
- Working at heights / climbing ladders
- Ability to work in hot, cold or wet environments.
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred but not required.
Responsibilities
- Maintain a neat, clean, and organized work areas.
- Assists in the maintenance of processing equipment.
- Maintains current & accurate production logs.
- Ensures compliance with air permit special requirements pertaining to cyclones & flares
- Complies with all corporate safety and environmental regulations and procedures.
- Complies with all HACCP Food Safety procedures, GMP’S, and guidelines.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
