Do you want to help us build the DNA of tech.? Vishay Thin Film is currently seeking applicants for a 3rd shift Saw Operator. Job Location: Vishay Thin Film is located in Niagara Falls, NY. The site has a lot of natural beauty to offer including the world-famous Niagara Falls which are just a short drive away!
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to read and write to understand production documents and accurately record information
- Basic math skills required
- Basic computer skills required
- Ability to multi-task is necessary
- Close attention to detail is necessary
- This position requires access to information subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations and/or the Export Administration Regulations. As such, this position is open only to applicants who qualify as “U.S. Persons” as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.15 is required. “U.S. Person” includes U.S. Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.”
Responsibilities
- Set up saw machine per work instructions
- Prepare material for cutting by using the proper tools, operate multiple saws to cut per work instructions
- Remove and clean plates and dry finished product
- Use a microscope to inspect finished product
- Complete work documents and electronic logs
