About The Position

Berry Companies, Inc. is seeking an Operations Training & Specialist with experience in ERP systems and equipment-based operations. This role will be based out of the Division Support office in Wichita, and will partner closely with field teams, managers, and leadership to support, train, and improve how business systems and processes are used in day-to-day operations. Salary $60,000-$75,000 depending on experience

Requirements

  • Ability to manage multiple training programs and projects simultaneously, with strong attention to detail and time management.
  • Experience working with ERP systems in equipment, manufacturing, construction, or dealership environments.
  • Comfortable working directly with all employees.
  • Strong problem solving mindset with a focus on accuracy, efficiency, and operational consistency.
  • Ability to have fun in any working environment.
  • Ability to travel to branch and operational locations as needed to support training and system adoption. (10-15% travel)
  • Excellent communication, both written and oral.
  • Must enjoy dealing with customers and employees/co-workers.
  • Excellent computer knowledge and skills business and operating systems.

Responsibilities

  • Service as the primary support resource for employees with questions related to ERP systems, operational processes, and day-to-day workflows in service, parts, rental, and equipment operations.
  • Engage in on-on-one, hands on, or group training to help teams maintain or improve knowledge and performance of operational policies and procedures as well as technology systems
  • Provide hands on troubleshooting and support for the ERP system used in our parts, rental, equipment, service, and credit departments, while acting as a liaison between the branches and corporate support.
  • Identify opportunities to improve operational workflows, making recommendations to Berry Companies management on policy and procedure changes.
  • Design and deliver hands on ERP and process training using real scenarios for employees on company processes, procedures, and technology systems.
  • Collaborate with divisional leadership, department managers, and Berry Companies staff to identify training needs and gaps.
  • Listen to employees concerns on company procedures and policies.
  • Research new training techniques and suggest enhancements to existing training programs.
  • Organize, plan, and prioritize work develop specific goals and plans to prioritize, organize and accomplish work.
  • Follow set procedures and routines and communicate the importance of established procedures to others.
  • Other duties or projects as assigned.
