About The Position

Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, celebrating its Centennial, is seeking a detail-oriented and collaborative Operations & Training Specialist to support Academic Operations & Training at Worldwide Headquarters. This role plays a critical part in driving operational consistency, supporting scalable training initiatives, and enhancing system and data integrity across a global network of campus and online locations. The ideal candidate will bring strong analytical skills, a proactive mindset, and the ability to manage multiple priorities while contributing to process improvement, training delivery, and cross-functional alignment. This position offers the opportunity to work closely with leadership and stakeholders across the University to support operational excellence and student success.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • 1–3 years of relevant professional experience (student support, operations, training, or related field preferred)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • High level of attention to detail and organizational ability
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook) and SharePoint
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong collaboration and interpersonal skills with the ability to work cross-functionally
  • Ability to work independently and exercise sound judgment

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with systems such as Campus Solutions, Salesforce, or similar platforms preferred

Responsibilities

  • Support and maintain operational systems, tools, and data repositories to ensure accuracy, integrity, and efficiency
  • Monitor workflows and identify opportunities for process improvement, scalability, and consistency
  • Coordinate and support training initiatives, including onboarding, refresher training, and ongoing development programs
  • Maintain and update training materials, modules, and documentation across platforms such as Canvas and SharePoint
  • Track training participation, engagement, and effectiveness, providing insights for continuous improvement
  • Assist in the development of reports, dashboards, and presentations to support leadership decision-making
  • Analyze operational data to identify trends, gaps, and opportunities for improvement
  • Contribute to SOP development, process documentation, and implementation of operational policies
  • Serve as a liaison across Academic Operations & Training, advising teams, site operations, and university stakeholders
  • Support communication and rollout of process updates, training initiatives, and operational changes
  • Coordinate logistics and execution of departmental initiatives, trainings, and projects
  • Promote a culture of collaboration, operational excellence, and continuous improvement
