We are looking to add an Operations Technician to our F3 Airport team, supporting the Muskegon County Airport. If you are looking for a growing company that invests in it's employees then Founders 3 is the place for you.

This is a second shift position: 3:00 pm to 11:00 pm which is dependent on airline scheduling. There is also a weekend on call rotation for the team.

As a member of our Maintenance team, you will manage the upkeep of the property and be responsible for a variety of skilled and unskilled maintenance work on airport buildings, grounds and airfield. We are looking for a professional who plays a proactive role for our client. We ask our Maintenance team to have a practical mind and keen attention to details as they develop and execute preventative maintenance plans.

Requirements

• A minimum of three years’ facility maintenance and/or commercial maintenance experience. (electrical, carpentry, plumbing, HVAC, roofing, pavement, landscaping, and snow removal a plus)
• Must have a valid Michigan Driver's License in good standing. CDL-B is preferred or must successfully complete testing and endorsement within 90 days of employment.
• HS Diploma or equivalent. Associate degree or certifications a plus.
• Must be available to work rotating weekends, overtime, possibly some holidays and be on-call as needed - specifically during snow emergencies
• Must be comfortable with working on an active airfield and communicating with FAA Air Traffic Control Tower (in-house training provided)
• Must have experience with the use of computer/tablet.
• Must be skilled in the use of hand and power tools and test equipment; and be able to diagnose equipment problems, make repairs, test equipment, and properly maintain records.
• Must be a team player, have strong work ethic, positive attitude, and desire to succeed while representing our firm with the best possible service to our clients.
• Must provide outstanding customer service to meet the needs of our client.
• Be in good physical condition and strength to perform duties essential to perform job requirements

Responsibilities

• Performs general maintenance work on airport buildings, grounds, and airfield;
• Operates a variety of heavy equipment including snow plows, dump trucks, cranes, back-hoes and lawn mowing tractors with cutting deck;
• Provides general building and facility repairs to include roofing, plumbing, carpentry, HVAC, fencing, pavement and other basic facility repairs;
• Conducts routine electrical repairs such as changing light bulbs, wiring, fixture installation, etc.
• Performs FAA airfield inspections; including runway and taxiway surfaces; creates work orders, and reports airfield conditions in the FAA’s NOTAM system
• Performs wildlife mitigations
