About The Position

As an Operations Support Specialist, you’ll play a vital role in supporting the day-to-day functions of our title and escrow departments. From document preparation and title clearance to system support and project assistance, this role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 5+ years of experience in title, banking, real estate, or a related industry.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and under pressure.

Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative support to escrow and title branches.
  • Prepare closing documents, statements, and instructions for buyers and sellers.
  • Coordinate closings, recordings, disbursements, and title policy issuance.
  • Obtain and review instruments to clear title for closing.
  • Examine chains of title and interpret legal descriptions and court proceedings.
  • Use underwriting and title manuals to evaluate and resolve issues.
  • Draft accurate commitments and policies using standard and extended coverage.
  • Maintain confidentiality and adhere to disclosure procedures.
  • Support production systems and software for title and escrow operations.
  • Assist with audits, compliance, training, and long-term escrow projects.
