About The Position

Operations Supervisor Transdev in Las Vegas, NV is hiring an operations supervisor. The Operations Supervisor oversees day-to-day field operations. We are seeking customer service-oriented professionals who are dedicated to safety. Transdev is proud to offer: Non-CBA Position: Competitive compensation package of minimum $26.00 ($54,080) – Maximum $29.00 ($60,320) Pay raises each year, currently in January. Benefits include: Vacation: minimum of two (2) weeks, up to four (4) weeks Sick days: 6 PTO (sick) days Holidays: 9 days; 8 standard and 1 additional for your birthday Other standard benefits: 401(k) retirement plan, medical, dental and vision, life insurance, short-term disability, voluntary long-term disability.

Requirements

  • High school diploma, GED or equivalent
  • Minimum of 2 years of relevant leadership experience preferred
  • Commercial Driving License “A” or “B” with passenger and airbrake endorsements
  • Excellent interpersonal & communication skills
  • Subject to a DOT drug testing and physical if applicable. DOT Regulation 49 CFR Part 40 does not authorize the use of Schedule I drugs, including cannabis, for any reason.
  • Be eligible to work in the United States without requiring sponsorship now or in the future (if based in the U.S.).
  • Successfully pass a pre-employment drug screen.

Responsibilities

  • Provide leadership to build and maintain a strong team through effective communication, appraisal, training, and coaching.
  • Assist in interviewing new applicants and make recommendations for hiring / not hiring to Human Resources.
  • Issue Corrective Action Notices (disciplinary letters) with the assistance of the Operations Managers and Human Resources.
  • Works with the Operations Coordinators to ensure safe, courteous, and efficient service is provided to all customers.
  • Perform Operator safety evaluation ride checks, investigate and respond to situations, resolve operational issues.
  • Read maps, interpret transit operating rules and policies.
  • Monitor and assist operators completing pre-trip and post-trip examinations to ensure safety compliance.
  • Other duties as required.
