About The Position

As an Operations Supervisor, you will be a key leader within our hauling operations, responsible for supervising front-line teams, ensuring safety and compliance, and driving daily operational performance. This role combines hands-on field leadership with planning, coaching, and problem-solving in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

Willingness and ability to relocate for promotional opportunities based on performance
Prior experience in transportation, trucking, logistics, or waste operations
Ability to obtain a Class B CDL within 90 days (if not already held)
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines
Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and related business systems

Nice To Haves

Bachelor’s degree strongly preferred
Previous supervisory or leadership experience in an operations environment

Responsibilities

Assign and supervise work crews operating solid waste collection equipment
Monitor daily operations and adjust staffing, routes, and priorities as needed
Help develop, implement, and reinforce safety goals and best practices
Conduct field inspections and audits to ensure safe and proper work procedures
Investigate and address customer service issues and collection concerns
Coach, train, and manage employee performance, including formal reviews
Develop short- and long-term action plans aligned with company goals
Oversee compliance programs including environmental, OSHA, DOT, and local permitting requirements
