About The Position

The Operations Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations within the site location ensuring team members are working safely while adhering to all safety policies and procedures. The Operations Supervisor delegates tasks and oversees all functions within their location to ensure deadlines are met and customers’ expectations are exceeded. The Operations Supervisor role is a full-time, exempt, salaried position reporting directly to the Operations Manager. Business Operational Hours: Monday – Friday, 7:00 am – 5:00 pm Starting Salary Range: $65K+(BOE) + Annual Bonus

Requirements

  • High School Diploma required. College degree in Business, Logistics, or similar field is preferred.
  • 2 – 5 years’ supervisor experience required
  • Strong communication skills both verbal and written
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office products: Word, Excel, Outlook
  • Forklift Experience highly preferred

Nice To Haves

  • Warehouse Management systems knowledge is helpful, we use the WMS Camelot
  • Forklift Experience highly preferred
  • College degree in Business, Logistics, or similar field is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Oversees the shipping and delivery of materials and warehouse personnel
  • Responsible for inventory, distribution, transportation, and other processes that support the overall organizational goals
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues as they arise by partnering with customers and other departments as needed
  • Conduct daily shift meetings and delegate tasks to warehouse personnel
  • Ensure all personnel are working safely and adhering to all safety and business policies and procedures
  • Partner with Operations Manager and Human Resources regarding staffing levels and personnel performance management
  • Maintain training records for all personnel under your direction ensuring all training is current
  • On the floor presence interacting with warehouse personnel, drivers, vendors, etc.
  • Attend leadership meetings as required
  • Maintaining a level of professionalism and mentorship mentality at all times
  • Provide excellent customer service to internal and external customers
  • Provide a creative, critical thinking approach – we are Problem Solvers for our customers
  • Plan for success in all operational areas: Safety, Quality, Production, and Service.
