We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Battery Storage Operations Supervisor to oversee the operations and maintenance of our cutting-edge battery storage systems. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficiency, reliability, and optimal performance of our energy storage assets.

Requirements

• 2+ years of proven experience in battery storage operations, preferably in a supervisory or management role
• Strong technical knowledge of battery storage systems, inverters, and associated equipment
• Familiarity with energy management systems (EMS) and supervisory control and data acquisition (SCADA) systems
• Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to effectively manage a team and collaborate across departments
• Experience with regulatory compliance and safety standards in the energy sector
• Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.

Responsibilities

• Manage on site day-to-day operations of battery storage facilities, including monitoring system performance and coordinating maintenance activities and contractors
• Develop and implement site specific operational strategies to maximize system uptime and efficiency
• Collaborate with commercial operations, asset management, engineering, and project teams to optimize battery storage design and integration with renewable energy sources
• Ensure compliance with safety, commercial obligations, environmental, and regulatory requirements
• Oversee the training and development of operations staff, ensuring a high level of competency and adherence to operational procedures
• Monitor and analyze performance data to identify opportunities for improvement and cost savings
• Prepare reports and presentations for senior management on operational performance and key metrics
• Other duties as required or assigned.
