What this job involves: This position is responsible for monitoring and managing critical building systems through advanced Building Automation Systems to ensure optimal facility operations and safety. You'll serve as the central point of contact for building alarms, incidents, and coordination activities while providing technical support to field operations teams and maintaining excellent customer service standards.

  • Monitor and manage critical alarms for building mechanical infrastructure, fire, and life safety systems through Building Automation Systems
  • Track, escalate, and communicate incidents with business disruption potential through established protocols
  • Assist field operations with equipment troubleshooting using building automation data, trend analysis, and system overrides
  • Coordinate building shutdown activities and notify stakeholders through automation systems
  • Validate vendor work approvals before activities commence
  • Conduct proactive virtual facility system tours to verify proper operation
  • Generate, process, and dispatch work orders while following up on completion status
  • Prepare and maintain accurate shift reports and periodic documentation
  • Provide customer-focused support and communication to all stakeholders
  • High School diploma or GED equivalent
  • Strong proficiency in computer applications including Word and Excel
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to produce accurate reports under tight, client-defined deadlines
  • Strong time management, multitasking, and organizational skills with attention to detail
  • Self-motivated with ability to work in fast-paced, high-volume environments
  • Flexibility to work varied shifts including nights and weekends
  • Ability to analyze system operations, diagnose problems, and implement corrective actions
  • Understanding of technology, software applications, and computer systems
  • Customer service orientation and strong interpersonal skills
  • Ability to remain calm and effective during stressful or emergency situations
  • Degree or education in technology-related field from accredited university or college
  • Experience with Building Automation Systems and their functionality
