About The Position

This position supports an Asset Management Team within a large state‑level Information Technology department. The contractor will track, update, and manage the movement of IT desktop and network assets. Responsibilities include updating asset metadata, adding newly acquired equipment to the system, reassigning assets through ServiceNow tickets, coordinating disposal of outdated hardware, applying asset tags, maintaining an organized work area, and generating reports to support biennium reconciliation. The role also provides mobile AV support along with unboxing and moving equipment as needed. Success in this onsite position requires strong analytical ability, excellent customer service, clear communication skills, and the ability to work effectively within a team environment.
