These various tasks could include data entry, various operations workload execution management, and project conflict coordination. The Operations Specialist would be interacting with company external stake holders such as IDOT, CDOT and PCO on a regular basis.  Operations specialist would have knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular area, works under minimal supervision and relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish tasks.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma, HSED, or GED
  • 5 + years – Standard computer applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
  • 5 + years – Identifying and implementing solutions to problems

Nice To Haves

  • Ability to manage multiple projects and organized
  • Ability to communicate with internal and external customers

Responsibilities

  • Create permits orders within company workload management system
  • Update a variety of spreadsheets/SharePoint sites on a daily basis
  • Experience using Excel for daily assignment sheets
  • Resolving and investigating internal and external customer issues
  • Administrative tasks: restocking/ordering forms, office supplies, file documents
