Requirements

  • Experience: 1-2 years of experience in logistics, transportation, or a related field is preferred.
  • Education: A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Skills: You're a natural at organization and multitasking. You have excellent communication and customer service skills, a strong focus on detail, and are proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Attributes: You're dependable, proactive, and a true team player who can thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Nice To Haves

  • Bonus points if you have experience with track-and-trace operations or appointment scheduling!
  • Additional certifications or a degree in Logistics or Supply Chain Management is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Track & Trace: Be the eyes and ears of our shipments, monitoring transit to ensure timely delivery and providing crucial updates to both internal teams and clients.
  • Schedule & Coordinate: Schedule and confirm all pickup and delivery appointments with carriers, shippers, and receivers.
  • Resolve Issues: Proactively identify potential delays or problems and escalate issues as needed to the right team, keeping our operations running efficiently.
  • Manage Data: Accurately input and maintain all shipment details and appointment information in our transportation management system ( TMS ).
  • Provide Support: Handle key administrative tasks, from preparing documents to responding to inquiries and maintaining organized records.
  • Communicate with Confidence: Act as a key point of contact for carriers and customers, providing exceptional service and building positive relationships.
