About The Position

Job Summary The Distribution Workflow Specialist is responsible for ensuring the efficient and smooth flow of outbound orders from point of origin to the arrival at the final destination in a distribution center. This role requires a highly organized individual who can manage multiple tasks simultaneously and has excellent communication skills to coordinate across various departments to maintain optimal operational efficiency. Job Description MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES Workflow Coordination: Coordinate the movement of work within the distribution center, ensuring orders are waved, allocated, picked, processed and shipped efficiently Process Optimization: Analyze and optimize processes to improve the flow of work through the distribution center. Implement best practices and continuous improvement initiatives. Collaboration: Work closely with various departments, including Team Members, Leads, Distribution center leadership, Continuous Improvement, Engineering and Transportation, to ensure seamless operations and resolve any flow-related issues. Data Analysis: Collect and analyze data related to the flow of work, identify trends, and generate reports to support decision-making and operational improvements to DOs and Warehouse Managers Compliance: Ensure all processes comply with company policies and aim to improve KPIs for Safety, Quality, Service, Cost and/or People MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS Education High school diploma or equivalent Knowledge / Skills / Abilities Knowledge: Warehouse operations, safety and compliance, Order flow through SAP and Catalyst Skills: Highly organized, effective communicator, ability to problem solve, Leadership and analytical skills Abilities: Adaptable, good time management, team collaborations PREFERRED JOB REQUIREMENTS Education Bachelor’s degree in relevant field Work Experience 3 years of supervisory experience coaching, mentoring and training staff and 3 years warehouse experience Medline Industries, LP, and its subsidiaries, offer a competitive total rewards package, continuing education & training, and tremendous potential with a growing worldwide organization. The anticipated salary range for this position: $67,000.00 - $101,000.00 Annual The actual salary will vary based on applicant’s location, education, experience, skills, and abilities. This role is bonus and/or incentive eligible. Medline will not pay less than the applicable minimum wage or salary threshold.
