Operations Material Flow Analyst Essential Duties and Responsibilities Works under direction of Manufacturing Management in cooperation with other plant personnel. Conducts ongoing review of component availability, Foundry production schedule adherence as it pertains to customer demand (right parts at the time), and opportunity for process improvement related to Delivery, Inventory, and Productivity with focus area on Inventory. Coordinate with Planning Team to determine customer demand for component production from Foundry operations. Utilize knowledge of component need to ensure timely delivery of castings from the Foundry to the Machine Shop. Share information with Operations and Planning team to ensure Assembly is aligned for daily production based on component availability. Gathers data, stores data, evaluates data, and presents data to be utilized for process capability. Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Associates degree preferred but High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Must be able to verbally and electronically communicate effectively across multiple departments.
  • Ability to calculate component availability and provide reporting to team members using Microsoft Excel.
