As the Operations Manager, you will oversee all aspects of production within our manufacturing facility—ensuring safety, quality, and efficiency while leading high-performing teams. Your leadership will directly impact our ability to meet aggressive growth goals, scale operations, and continuously improve how we build.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of proven success in an operations or manufacturing management role
  • Strong experience with budget development and cost oversight
  • Demonstrated ability to delegate effectively while maintaining operational control
  • Proficiency in conflict management and business negotiation
  • Working knowledge of business productivity software and ability to learn new systems
  • Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience) in Operations Management, Business Administration, or a related field

Responsibilities

  • Ensure all operations comply with health, safety, and environmental regulations
  • Conduct safety audits and deliver employee training to minimize risk
  • Address non-compliance issues and implement preventive measures
  • Plan, organize, and manage daily production operations to meet output targets
  • Develop and maintain production schedules to optimize labor, equipment, and materials
  • Monitor workflows and adjust priorities to ensure deadlines are consistently met
  • Lead, mentor, and develop production supervisors and their teams
  • Recruit, train, and evaluate team members to ensure high performance
  • Foster a culture of accountability, safety, and continuous improvement
  • Ensure production processes meet company standards and regulatory requirements
  • Oversee quality control efforts and resolve production quality issues
  • Partner with quality teams to implement corrective and preventive actions
  • Identify operational improvement opportunities using Lean, Six Sigma, or similar methodologies
  • Drive initiatives to reduce cost, improve productivity, and increase efficiency
  • Evaluate and implement new technologies and equipment to enhance operations
  • Develop and manage production budgets to support cost-effective operations
  • Monitor expenses and identify cost-saving opportunities
  • Prepare financial and operational reports for senior leadership
  • Partner with procurement, engineering, logistics, and sales to align production with business objectives
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for resolving operational challenges
