The Operations Manager is a key leader at the Salt Lake City Distribution Center, responsible for daily and nightly warehouse operations across one or more functional areas including receiving, order fulfillment, and shipping. This role ensures safe, efficient, and compliant operations while developing frontline leaders and driving performance across service, quality, cost, and employee engagement.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
5+ years of leadership experience in a distribution, logistics, or manufacturing environment
Proven ability to lead teams, drive performance, and deliver operational results
Strong communication, problem‑solving, and decision‑making skills

Responsibilities

Distribution Center Operations
Lead and oversee day‑to‑day operations within assigned functional areas
Drive performance to meet productivity, service, quality, and cost targets
Implement operational improvements and continuous improvement initiatives
People Leadership
Lead and develop managers, supervisors, and frontline leaders
Foster a positive, inclusive, and high‑performance culture
Support workforce planning, hiring, training, coaching, and succession development
Enhance employee engagement and retention
Safety & Compliance
Champion McKesson’s safety and security culture
Ensure compliance with company policies, SOPs, and regulatory requirements
Maintain audit readiness and promote best practices in safety
