Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree, or equivalent experience in management or marketing with a minimum of 7 years of experience in distribution or manufacturing leadership.
  • Experience should include management and operations.
  • Strong organizational and communication (verbal & written) skills
  • Commitment to Customer Service and improving the quality of the sale to the customer
  • Experience in developing budgets and business plans
  • Excellent leadership, management, math and analytical skills
  • Excellent Computer Skills

Nice To Haves

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in the Steel Service Center Industry preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provides a safe and healthy working environment as well as the tools and equipment necessary to service our customers.
  • Ensures customer service and satisfaction.
  • Manages warehouse operation to maximize operational efficiency, safety and employee performance.
  • Manages office staff to ensure efficiency and that the Seven Habits of Highly Effective Teammates are being met.
  • Educates, trains, and develops employees.
  • Manages and improves daily business processes (operations & administrative) through analysis and collaboration.
  • Represents the Company to the market area.
  • Partners with support functions (IT, HR, Purchasing, Sales, Credit and Accounting) to achieve objectives and continuous improvement.
  • Performs other duties as related or assigned.
  • Good attendance is an essential function of this job.
