About The Position

At OneMain, Operation Managers play a key role in driving operational efficiency and designing better ways of working across our Auto Operations group. This position is ideal for someone who has a strong understanding of our current systems, processes, and operational challenges—and is ready to lead efforts that make our business run smarter and stronger. The ideal candidate will bring a balance of business insight and technical understanding, helping teams streamline operations, improve scalability, and enhance overall performance. Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in auto finance operations or a closely related field.
  • Deep understanding of existing systems, policies, and operational processes.
  • Proven experience in process analysis, business improvement, or solution design.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to influence across levels and clearly convey both business logic and technical needs.
  • Strong facilitation skills—able to drive discussions, manage competing priorities, and guide teams toward decisions.
  • Demonstrated success translating business goals into technology or system changes.
  • Highly organized, results-driven, and adept at managing multiple initiatives simultaneously.

  • Experience leading or supporting t echnology implementations or system enhancements.
  • Background collaborating across business and IT teams to bring process and technology solutions to life.

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate current operational workflows to identify inefficiencies and improvement opportunities.
  • Design forward-looking process solutions that enhance efficiency, reduce manual work, and support scalable growth.
  • Translate business needs into clear, actionable documentation such as process maps, business requirements, and project plans.
  • Partner with internal teams and stakeholders to align on proposed changes, ensure prioritization, and gain buy-in.
  • Convert business objectives into technical requirements, collaborating closely with technology and systems teams to deliver effective solutions.
  • Coordinate implementation efforts across departments, managing timelines, communications, and stakeholder engagement.
  • Serve as a key point of clarity throughout the solution lifecycle—from concept through execution and ongoing optimization.
  • Maintain an in-depth understanding of current systems and platforms, including how they intersect with daily operations.
