About The Position

The Operations Manager is responsible for managing Shipping, Receiving, Inspection, Customer Product Configuration, and Inventory logistics for all Middle Market Systems operations.  In addition to this, the Operations Manager is responsible for field logistics of new products.

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Economics, Engineering or related field
  • 5+years in functional area or equivalent.

Responsibilities

  • Manage daily operations against all contracted workstreams and deliverables.
  • Manage Operation functions to meet  corporate  goals,  objectives  and  changing  needs  of  the organization.
  • Manage and work with customer to ensure expectations are properly set and performance Is effectively communicated.
  • Manage Risks and Issues Impacting Landis+Gyr contracted products and services.
  • Create, implement, and execute metrics that monitor, measure, and analyze the performance for each area of responsibility.
  • Work with Procurement team to ensure delivery and quality goals are met.
  • Manage the Shipping and Receiving Departments and execute all defined corporate logistics practices.
  • Manage Vendors and subcontractors according to contract/SOW.
  • Support new product introduction process to ensure corporate objectives are met.
  • Oversee the configuration of network equipment to meet customer specific configuration.
  • Provide inspection support and incoming sample testing to ensure incoming product from contract manufacturers meets quality standards.
  • Provide input into the Forecast process to ensure that revenue and inventory requirements are met.
  • Supports and adheres to Company’s core values.
  • Performs other duties or responsibilities as assigned or required.
  • Supports and adheres to Company’s Code of Conduct and Ethics Policy.
  • Represents Company in a positive, professional manner when working with both internal and external customers.
  • Provide leadership, support, mentorship & training to staff, sets goals and expectations and measures performance against same.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead people and get results through others.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities & meet timelines.
  • Problem analysis and problem resolution—both at strategic and functional level
  • Ability and willingness to travel (25%)
