About The Position

Velociti Services is seeking an experienced Operations Manager to oversee daily operations at Flamingo Crossing Town Center. This role is responsible for ensuring all site activities run efficiently, safely, and in alignment with Velociti’s business objectives. The Operations Manager will lead both the Property Ambassador Program and the Custodial Services contract, ensuring cohesive operations, high-quality service delivery, and strong client relationships.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent required.
Prior experience in property operations, facilities management, custodial services, or a customer-facing environment preferred.
Strong attention to detail and observational skills.
Effective verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to work independently while maintaining a consistent on-site presence.
Comfortable using basic technology and mobile applications for reporting and communication.
Willingness and ability to work outdoors and remain mobile throughout the entire shift.
Minimum of 3-5 years of supervisory experience in janitorial or facility management.
Experience in managing budgets and financial reporting is required.
Strong leadership and team management skills.
Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
Strong financial acumen, with the ability to manage and report on budgets.
Exceptional communication skills for client interaction and staff supervision.
Familiarity with janitorial practices, equipment, cleaning chemicals, and safety protocols.
Knowledge of budget management and cost control in an operational setting.

Nice To Haves

Previous experience working with large cleaning teams or in multi-site operations is a plus.

Responsibilities

Ensure day-to-day operations are executed efficiently, safely, and in alignment with Velociti Services’ goals.
Maintain consistent and effective business processes that support operational excellence and client satisfaction.
Serve as a professional on-site leader representing Velociti Services.
Oversee and manage the daily operations of both the Property Ambassador Program and Custodial Services contract, ensuring both contracts work collaboratively toward shared objectives.
Supervise employees, allocate resources, and optimize workflows to improve efficiency and service quality.
Directly supervise staff, ensuring tasks are completed safely, efficiently, and properly documented in accordance with required guidelines.
Provide leadership and direction by setting clear expectations, goals, and priorities aligned with organizational objectives.
Maintain clear, professional, and effective verbal and written communication with team members.
Communicate directly with the client and Velociti Services management regarding site status, incidents, staffing matters, and disciplinary actions.
Ensure quality assurance through proper monitoring of services using the client-preferred system (Workspace) and Velociti Services applications, including Peazy, OTJ, and other company service standards.
Train employees, identify skill gaps, and support ongoing coaching and professional development.
Monitor individual and team performance, conduct evaluations, and provide corrective actions and constructive feedback as needed.
Motivate teams by encouraging accountability, teamwork, and engagement to maintain morale and productivity.
Monitor workflows to ensure assignments are completed and documented in accordance with contractual agreements.
Make timely operational decisions and hold team members accountable for results.
Enforce company policies, safety standards, and operational procedures through consistent supervision.
Manage budgets, control operational expenses, and ensure effective use of equipment, golf carts, materials, supplies, and facilities.
Provide coverage for staffing absences across either contract and various shifts when coverage cannot be secured.
Lead by example by demonstrating professionalism, ethical behavior, and problem-solving consistent with Velociti standards.
