Overview The Operations Manager is responsible for establishing and executing company strategy related to domestic and international freight movements through an understanding of industry trends and best practices. Recruit, develop and motivate staff to provide a world class customer experience and meet or exceed client expectations. Insure the station has the necessary tools in place to succeed and expand their business levels in international products lines in a sustained fashion. Work with current and prospective logistics services providers and internal AIT functions to develop the best overall strategy. Execution of those strategies includes establishing, measuring and managing to applicable metrics with service providers, vendors and internal AIT functions to ensure timely and efficient flow of product for AIT.
