About The Position

Responsible for enhancing the operational efficiency of Behavioral Health teams to support the delivery of high-quality patient care across all programs. The operations manager will be adept at utilizing data analysis to identify trends, drive strategic forecasting and business growth.

  • Must have a bachelor’s degree in business, healthcare administration or related field.
  • Three years of prior experience in a healthcare or behavioral health setting is required, or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job listed above.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and put into place processes that ensure programs run smoothly and more efficiently.
  • Use data to improve day-to-day operations, enhance the patient experience and support business growth.
  • Prepare and share reports that show department trends, and proactively address issues as they arise.
  • Support Continuous Quality Improvement initiatives through use of the PDSA cycle model, monitoring and reporting of department quality metrics.
  • Manage program costs to budget by monitoring productivity, patient volume, and revenue.
  • Conduct Needs Assessments for the community and/or department as relevant.
  • Project management of major departmental initiatives when identified.
  • Establish strong working relationships across teams to quickly identify and resolve problems.
  • Demonstrate leadership and management skills that foster a culture of mentoring, coaching, motivating and engaging staff.
  • Model and communicate key values in the community and to staff in a way that supports Cherry Health’s mission.
  • Educate and empower staff to be adept at meeting current and future organizational needs, and adjust schedule staff hours of work, priorities, and assignments to ensure efficient operation, based on workload.
  • Supervise and train assigned staff, addressing performance issues consistently, promptly, and appropriately.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable accrediting and regulatory bodies.
  • Understand and adhere to Cherry Health’s compliance standards as they appear in Cherry Health’s Corporate Compliance Policy, Code of Conduct, and Conflict of Interest Policy.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
