Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Management, or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in operations or project management, especially in Government or DoD contracts.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and reporting skills.
  • Demonstrated experience in financial tracking, schedule/timeline management, and SOP development.
  • Proficiency with project management tools and data systems (Power BI a plus).
  • Spanish Language Proficiency.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and execute all aspects of WJPC Center’s operations in support of programs and activities annually.
  • Prepare and deliver weekly status reports, including completed tasks, staffing status, financials (travel & ODC), and any issues.
  • Lead project planning and implement Government-approved projects on schedule.
  • Participate in onsite meetings; develop briefings, white papers, and responses to data calls as required.
  • Develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs); ensure coordination with Contractor and Government personnel, present SOPs for Government review.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for all operational specialists’ support and deliverables.
  • Alert Contract Manager to any issues or concerns relating to fellows, guests, activities, or contract deliverables.
  • Utilize PM tools and methods (timelines, task tracking, budget tracking, ODC approvals) to ensure contract requirements are met.
  • Oversee integration of operations-support functions; ensure use of systems (Power BI, workflow) and review/approve estimates before submission to CM.
