The Operations Lead is a critical member of the store leadership team, responsible for driving and coaching to profitability and efficiency. This role involves close collaboration with the Operations & Visual Manager to initiate, delegate work, and provide feedback to the team, ensuring optimal results for total store operations. Key responsibilities include leading inventory management processes to maximize accuracy and reduce shrink, investigating inventory issues, and managing operational functions such as shipment, receiving, processing, sales floor recovery, and floor set updates. The Operations Lead champions strong visual standards, maintains efficient stockroom processes, and supports a safe work environment. They also act as a business leader by partnering with the Operations & Visual Manager on reporting, budgets, expenses, inventory control, vendor relationships, technology, and facilities, leveraging metrics to drive business strategies. As a people leader, they lead by example, inspire staff, directly oversee Operations Associates, and are responsible for their recruitment, development, and performance feedback. Additionally, they collaborate with the Visual Lead and Sales & Service Lead to ensure cross-functional training and effective business execution, and implement company-level operations directives.
