The Operations Lead is critical in the store leadership team and is responsible for driving and coaching to profitability and efficiency. The Operations Lead will work closely with the Operations & Visual Manager in initiating, delegating work, and providing feedback to the team to achieve optimal results supporting total store operations. As an Operations Leader, this role involves leading and executing inventory management processes effectively with a focus on maximizing inventory accuracy and reducing shrink, investigating and root causing inventory accuracy issues, and managing execution of key operational functions including shipment, receiving and processing, reverse transfers, sales floor recovery, intra-day sales floor replenishment, floor set updates, and supply management. The Operations Lead champions strong visual standards for the sales floor and supports a safe work environment and efficient operation through strong stockroom standards and processes. As a Business Leader, the role partners with the Operations & Visual Manager to manage reporting, budgets, expenses, inventory control, supplies, vendor relationships, technology, and facilities to ensure they are maintained and maximized. It requires demonstrating strong business acumen by leveraging metrics to support business-driving strategies and moving dynamically on the retail floor to assess and fulfill the needs of the business, team, and guests. As a People Leader, the Operations Lead leads by example and inspires staff in daily operations and guest experience, directly oversees Operations Associates, and is responsible for their recruitment and development. They use company performance tools to evaluate each operations associate and provide constant feedback to drive individual growth and improvement in partnership with the store leader.
