About The Position

Options For All is seeking an Operations Intern to support the effectiveness and integrity of organizational systems that enable high-quality services across the agency. This internship is designed for a detail-oriented, analytical individual who is interested in gaining hands-on experience in operations, data management, and cross-functional collaboration within a mission-driven nonprofit environment. The intern will work closely with the Director of Operations and key partners across Quality, IT, Facilities, Safety, and Referral teams to support data accuracy, reporting, and system alignment. This role plays a critical part in ensuring that operational data is reliable, consistent, and actionable, directly supporting informed decision-making and organizational efficiency. Through this experience, the intern will develop practical skills in data analysis, reporting, and process improvement while gaining insight into how operational infrastructure supports program delivery, compliance, and strategic goals. The role offers mentorship, real-world projects, and exposure to nonprofit operations at scale, making it an ideal opportunity for students interested in operations, analytics, business administration, or systems-focused roles. This internship will be starting on June 1, 2026 and ending on August 7, 2026. This role requires intern to work 100% onsite in our San Diego HQ. Housing assistance and stipends are not provided.

Requirements

  • Must complete and pass background check.
  • Currently enrolled or a recent graduate in Business, Communications, or related field.
  • Minimum 3.0 GPA
  • Proficient computer and technology skills, including Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, Microsoft PowerPoint, internet search engines
  • Exceptional organizational, communication, and time management skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to research, collect, and analyze data
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
  • This position requires the employee to regularly stand, walk, sit, talk and hear.
  • They must be capable of writing, using a computer keyboard, telephone and related office equipment.
  • Ability to lift 15lbs.

Responsibilities

  • Retrieve, maintain, organize, and interpret data from multiple system platforms
  • Collaborate with Quality Compliance Analyst to perform quality checks and cross-references to ensure data accuracy and consistency across reports and systems
  • Collaborate with the IT, Facilities, Safety, and Referral departments to ensure systems and processes are aligned
  • Assist in preparing reports, dashboards, and documentation for internal use
  • Conduct research and data collection to support operational decision-making
  • Identify data discrepancies and escalate issues as needed
  • Support ongoing operational projects and initiatives
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Director of Operations
