LOCATION: Corporate DEPARTMENT: Operations FUNCTION DESCRIPTION: Responsible for providing support to the entire Bellco Operations Group. The Sr. Manager – Support Services and the Sr. Manager – Payment support will coordinate the Intern schedules each week depending on the needs to the department. ORGANIZATIONAL RELATIONSHIPS: Reports to: Sr. Manager – Support Services and Sr. Manager – Payment Support Supervises: None Contacts: Operations Group staff and various internal credit union staff

Requirements

  • Must be a full-time student working toward a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or Business Management, with preference for Accounting or Operations
  • A minimum of 2 years of college experience in a business degree program
  • Must be a detail-oriented and a flexible team player with the ability to interact professionally with all Bellco staff and outside contacts.
  • Motivated self-starter with good interpersonal skills who enjoys working with a team.
  • Ability to work independently, set personal goals and schedule to achieve those goals.
  • Strong analytical skills, with an ability to decide and take action by applying critical thought, intuition, experience, and judgment to the data available.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work well within an interdepartmental and collaborative team environment.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience using Microsoft Excel a plus
  • Financial services industry knowledge a plus
  • Accounting knowledge a plus

Responsibilities

  • Provides a valuable and enjoyable experience to both internal customers and members during interactions.
  • Deceased Account review, reporting, and updated communication.
  • Special Accounts review including IRA’s and CD.
  • Card Disputes and maintenance review.
  • SOP review and update for consistency.
  • Risk assessment updates.
  • Ensenta check review and update.
  • Official check review and update.
  • Springboard review and update.
  • Orphaned statement account review and update.
  • Engageware.
  • Create internal intranet page for individual departments within Operations.
  • Management retains the discretion to add to or change the duties of the position at any time.
