About The Position

DiVal Safety Equipment, a leader in the industrial safety, Fire, and EMS distribution business, is looking for credible and motivated Operational Generalist with a “whatever it takes” attitude.

The main responsibility of this position is to provide accurate and efficient Warehouse and onsite Quality Customer support with safety being a priority.

Requirements

• Ability to pass a D.O.T. physical with drug screen.
• Detail oriented and self-motivated.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. on a repetitive basis.
• Valid Driver’s License. (Vehicle Transit Van up to 26” box truck a plus)
• Basic computer skills a must, AS400 experience a plus
• High school diploma / GED equivalent.

Nice To Haves

• Experienced with warehouse equipment including forklifts, electric pallet trucks, elevated work platforms, and manual pallet jacks.
• Experience with handheld equipment, like RF scanners, palm devices, and/or tablets.

Responsibilities

• Always focus on safety – safety training and direction must be always adhered to.
• Driving and delivery responsibilities include loading trucks, delivering to customer sites, and assisting sales professionals with customer feedback. (Estimated 25%)
• Must complete daily vehicle inspection and make direct supervisor aware of any issues that might require attention.
• Various Warehouse activities, including but not limited to- picking, packing, shipping orders, receiving inventory, and putting stock away. (Estimated 75%)
• Prepare and submit all necessary daily paperwork in a timely manner as required.
• Complete cleaning and maintenance duties as directed.
• Report any existing or potential safety concerns to management.
• Reporting directly to the Warehouse Supervisors in alignment with other members of the management team.
• Perform additional duties that may arise and assigned by management.
