About The Position

The Operations Director position is a corporate-level role with a respected, fast-growing fitness management and consulting company. Opportunities for growth are exceptional. With this position comes a significant level of autonomy, creative input, and flexibility. The Operations Director is responsible for both oversight and support of fitness businesses managed by Peak Fitness Solutions. Their primary focus is ensuring smooth, efficient operations of all PFS locations, while maintaining high levels of revenue production, team satisfaction, customer service, and facility care. The OD role provides ongoing training, development, and accountability to all PFS club-level team members. The OD will achieve these results through their ability to work autonomously, be accountable, be detail-oriented, and clearly communicate with their staff.

Requirements

  • A well-developed understanding and use of sales, project management, and organizational skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to manage a large, diverse team
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • High levels of professionalism, honesty, and work ethic
  • Superior sense of “white-glove” customer service
  • Working knowledge of Google Business tools including Drive, Sheets, Docs, Drive, Calendar, and Meets
  • Strong time management skills
  • Ability to speak in a professional manner to small or large groups both within and outside the organization
  • Can identify and speak to current health, fitness, and market trends

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree (prefer in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, or a fitness-related field)
  • 2-5 years experience in managerial role
  • Flexible work from home options available.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain detailed knowledge of PFS locations, services, and staff
  • Oversee recruiting efforts for all club-level positions
  • Conduct weekly facility visits
  • Train, develop, and hold accountable all club-level staff
  • Manage all PFS location POS and database systems
  • Renew club pre-paid memberships on monthly basis
  • Order supplies, inventory, and replacement small equipment
  • Establish and support goals for both General Managers and individual Personal Trainers
  • Prepare payroll for W2 employees and 1099 contractors
