About The Position

The Operations Senior Director is responsible for leading the Manufacturing and Maintenance functions for CPS Puerto Rico. This role ensures the plant produces products that meet all quality standards, operates safely, and delivers against weekly production plans with optimal efficiency and cost performance. The Operations Senior Director establishes and executes the annual business plan for the area in alignment with the company’s Vision, while providing critical input and leadership to the CPS North America Master Plan development and execution. This role partners closely with cross‑functional teams including Planning & Logistics, Quality, Safety & Environment (QSE), Finance, People & Culture, Operational Excellence & Digitalization, Engineering, and Supply Chain Shared Services to drive integrated performance. Additionally, the role is accountable for ensuring continuity of supply to North America markets, working in close collaboration with the Atlanta Beverage Base plant. What You’ll Do for Us: Serve as a member of the CPS North America Leadership Team, playing a key role in driving organizational transformation, continuous improvement, and high levels of engagement across Manufacturing and Maintenance teams. Lead and ensure a robust annual business planning process for Operations, aligning priorities, targets, and resource allocation with CPS North America strategic objectives. Ensure concentrate and beverage bases manufactured at CRI are produced and supplied on time and in full to CDCs, in full compliance with company policies and CPS NA objectives for Safety, Environmental performance, Quality, Cost, and Service. Provide overall leadership to the Maintenance function, ensuring all Preventive and Corrective Maintenance activities are executed safely, effectively, and on schedule; lead the implementation and sustainability of TPM across all critical CRI equipment. Foster a strong people‑centric culture by driving high employee engagement, capability development, accountability, and ownership within Manufacturing and Maintenance teams, promoting safe behaviors, collaboration, and continuous improvement mindsets. Develop and sustain an end‑to-end (E2E) operational perspective, focusing on the processes and work that matter most, enabling disciplined continuous improvement cycles and performance management for CRI. Promote and support the development of organizational and technical capabilities in line with CPS North America Business Plan objectives, including leadership development, succession planning, and critical skill building. Act as the primary Operations point of contact for enterprise and service functions, including Global IT and OU Services (Information Systems, Legal, SRA, Incident Management, Crisis Resolution, and Human Resources), ensuring effective coordination and timely issue resolution. Lead and support CPS North America transformation initiatives, ensuring delivery of strategic commitments, change adoption, and measurable business results. Ensure full compliance with Company standards and local government regulations, including Safety, Environmental, Quality, Food Safety, Legal, Labor, and Finance requirements, in close partnership with QSE and Finance functions. Ensure successful achievement and ongoing compliance with required certifications and audits, including KORE, ISO standards (17025, 9001, 14001, 45001, 22000), Finance Corporate Audits, WRP, and other applicable corporate or regulatory requirements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Industrial, Production, Chemistry Engineer, of Foods, or similar graduation.
  • +15 years previous experience in the position or similar functions as: Operations Director, Production or Maintenance Director, OE & Digitalization Director, Supply Chain Director or QSE Director.
