As we continue to grow, we are seeking a motivated Operations Coordinator to help deliver exceptional customer experience and ensure smooth, profitable project execution. This role is ideal for a self‑directed professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys coordinating multiple moving parts, and takes ownership of results. Position Overview: The Operations Coordinator manages the customer journey from initial contact through project completion. This role is based in Surfside Beach, SC, with regular field work across Horry, Georgetown, and Berkeley Counties.

Requirements

  • Experience in customer service, operations, or production—ideally within home services, construction, or related industries.
  • Strong verbal communication skills (phone and in‑person) with the ability to build rapport quickly.
  • Highly organized, detail‑oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities.
  • Proven ability to work independently and solve problems proactively.
  • Experience coordinating crews, schedules, and multiple stakeholders.

Nice To Haves

  • Flooring or related industry experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships while supporting daily office operations.
  • Assist with lead follow‑up, appointment setting, and assist with local marketing efforts.
  • Maintain accurate project and financial records, including invoices, job updates, and system documentation.
  • Partner with the sales team to review priorities, upcoming projects, and customer needs.
  • Oversee the customer experience from project kickoff through final walkthrough.
  • Manage product ordering, delivery tracking, and installation scheduling.
  • Communicate project updates, changes, and timelines to customers and installers.
  • Achieve installation goals while ensuring accuracy, profitability, and customer satisfaction.
  • Log daily job status updates and maintain an accurate upcoming schedule.
  • Complete job-costing reports within 24 hours of installation completion.
  • Attend weekly meetings with the Franchise Owner.
  • Participate in Home Shows as needed.
  • Recruit, evaluate, and support installers while staying current on flooring products and installation best practices.
  • Make decisions aligned with Floor Coverings International’s core values and mission.
