As an Operations Consultant within PNC's CLLO organization, you will be based in Cincinnati, OH; or Pittsburgh PA. A strong understanding of the PNC/C&IB risk environment is required, with Equipment Finance expertise preferred and general commercial lending knowledge expected. The Operations Consultant leads cross functional initiatives that strengthen operational rigor, technology integration, and collaboration across Equipment Finance. Core responsibilities include partnering with Sales (in EF) to drive buy in for operational changes and fostering a shift toward productive, solutions oriented engagement. This role helps to define strategy and formalize efficiency projects across all EF teams—establishing clear role expectations, procedures, and handoffs between teams to eliminate ambiguity and ensure consistency. Core hours for this role are Monday – Friday, 8:00 am EST – 5:00 pm EST. Responsibilities include leading process improvement projects, defining success metrics, managing stakeholders, and executing detailed process analysis. This role drives change management through strong communication and by leveraging resources such as training, Risk, industry knowledge and performance improvement teams to support implementation. A key focus includes identifying and prioritizing technology enhancements—such as LeaseWave improvements, automation via PowerApps and BOTs, and transformation of SharePoint based workflows into integrated app driven processes—to improve efficiency, connectivity, and cross team workflow. The manager oversees EF Operations administration which includes but is not limited to supporting department-wide communication (all hands, QBRs), and helps leadership organize project roadmaps and planning (including QRS). This role also manages ELFA related activities, including coordinating training and developing both internal and third party learning programs for EF staff. Requirements

  • Successful candidates must demonstrate appropriate knowledge, skills, and abilities for a role.
  • Roles at this level typically require a university / college degree, with 5+ years of industry-relevant experience.

Responsibilities

  • Leads critical operational support and/or implementation of complex services, processes, capabilities or initiatives within an operational unit, and oversees performance and risk indicators.
