About The Position

Confluent Medical Technologies is a financially healthy and rapidly growing medical device company dedicated to providing life-saving solutions. They are seeking an Operations Associate II to join their talented Laser team in Fremont, CA. This role involves working under close supervision and following detailed verbal and written instructions to perform repetitive bench or line assembly operations for mass producing medical device products such as Stents and Filters.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 2 to 5 years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Ability to work varying shifts and overtime hours when required.
  • Ability to read, write and understand English.
  • Must have ability to complete training courses.
  • Ability to work in a team environment.
  • Ability to use and read measuring devices, i.e., rulers, calipers, micrometers, reticules, thermometers, gauges, etc.
  • Understands and can apply regulatory (QSR, ISO) requirements in everyday activities.

Responsibilities

  • Operate multiple laser machines as needed to produce laser as-cuts
  • Meet productivity and quality goals
  • Perform visual and dimensional inspections
  • Maintain clean and orderly workstation.
  • Properly completes manufacturing documentation.
  • Work at different workstations as production needs require.
  • Communicate problems to supervisor or lead.
  • Communicate the need for production operating supplies.
  • Participate in improvement activities related to process or safety.
  • Complete required basic production, health, safety and environmental hazard training courses.
  • Follow all corporate, safety, and production standard operating procedures.
