Requirements

  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Good teamwork and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and follow through
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
  • Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
  • Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.
  • Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
  • Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
  • To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel; and the ability to learn and effectively use enterprise software such as move management software; and the ability to learn and effectively use software for timekeeping and related functions.
  • Must have strong data entry skills.

  • one to two years related experience and/or training preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

  • Answer incoming calls into the Operations department
  • Communicate with van operators regarding delivery information on shipments
  • Update van operations regarding changes with shipment delivery
  • Update Movers Suite
  • Generate reports as requested
  • Other duties as assigned
