About The Position

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Operations Assistant to join our Operations team. This position is seasonal from April 2026-October 2026 and reports directly to the VP of Operations. As an Operations Assistant, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth execution of all events across HI-FI & HI-FI Annex (outdoors).

Requirements

Previous experience in live event production or related field preferred.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Must have reliable transportation.
Ability to work well under pressure and adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Basic knowledge of audio, lighting, and visual equipment is a plus.
Ability to lift heavy equipment and work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Passion for music and live entertainment.
Must be 21+

Responsibilities

Assist with the organization and execution of all event logistics for HI-FI Annex (outdoors) & HI-FI.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of production areas, including storage rooms, green rooms, and backstage areas.
Coordination and purchasing of all Artist Hospitality riders and cash reconciliation.
Assist with estimates and scheduling of Audio/Lighting gear rentals and maintenance with preferred vendors.
Coordination and execution artist arrival / parking / and event logistics alongside the Operations and Production team.
Collaborate with team members to ensure seamless coordination and execution of events.
Coordinate with technical and event staff to ensure proper placement of venue amenities, and functioning of audio, lighting, and visual equipment.
Help with loading and unloading of equipment, instruments, and gear (as needed).
Provide support to event staff, artists and performers during rehearsals and performances.
Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines at all times to ensure a safe working environment for all staff and performers.
Hours will be variable and work around artist load in schedules with periodically set admin days onsite.
