About The Position

Help the Oregon Department of Fish and Wildlife fulfill its mission: To protect and enhance Oregon's fish and wildlife and their habitats for use and enjoyment by present and future generations. We are hiring for one full-time, permanent position located at our headquarters in Salem, Oregon. If you enjoy the outdoors, Oregon is the place for you. To learn more about the department, the work we do, and see our beautiful state, view the following video at https://youtu.be/8CjDPiPMGAk What you will do: In this position, you will serve as a key business advisor and project manager for the department’s largest scale and most mission-critical projects, including responsibility for ensuring the utilization of appropriate project controls, financial prioritization practices, quality assurance and organizational change management principles. You will contribute to the development and implementation of the department’s overall project management philosophy, policies, and activities. Requirements

  • Option 1: Eight years professional-level evaluative, analytical and planning work.
  • Option 2: Five years professional-level evaluative, analytical and planning work and a Bachelor's Degree in Business or Public Administration, Behavioral or Social Sciences, Finance, Political Science or any degree demonstrating the capacity for the knowledge and skills
  • Option 3: Any combination of experience and education equivalent to eight years of experience that typically supports the knowledge and skills for the classification.
