As a Policy and Budget Analyst you will be a member of the Chief Financial Office, Budget and Management section providing central budget support for the Executive Branch of the state. You will work with state agencies throughout the budget development process and examine agency request budgets to make recommendations to the Governor for development of the Governor's Budget. This work includes a focus on equity in the budget process including budget development, review, and analysis of factors contributing to financial inequities. You will represent and explain the Governor's budget recommendations to the Legislature and other groups. You will also work with state agencies in the execution of their budgets. You will monitor agency budget performance, review allotment of agency funds, analyze agency program and staffing requests, and make recommendations on agency requests to the Legislative Emergency Board or Interim Joint Ways and Means Committees.
