About The Position

The Operations Analyst supports GBC Food Services’ franchise system by analyzing operational performance, identifying improvement opportunities, and helping drive consistent execution across prepared foods kiosks located in grocery stores and other host locations (clients). This role partners closely with franchisees and internal stakeholders to monitor KPIs, improve processes, support field execution, and strengthen compliance—especially food safety and brand standards. Travel within and outside the assigned region is required, sometimes with varying notice, to support operational needs.

Requirements

  • Willingness and ability to travel frequently (including some overnight) to host locations
  • Sound judgment, professionalism, and discretion when representing GBC in the field
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Operations, Analytics, Supply Chain, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 2–5 years of experience in multi-unit operations, analytics, franchise support, retail/food service, or a similar role
  • Prolonged periods of computer work and data analysis
  • Frequent travel and time on-site in grocery store/host location environments; standing/walking in kiosk areas
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds as needed (training materials, supplies, small equipment)

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with dashboards/data visualization (e.g., Power BI/Tableau) preferred
  • Experience supporting field teams and driving process improvements strongly preferred

Responsibilities

  • Build, maintain, and automate recurring operational reporting (sales trends, labor, waste, product mix, quality metrics, audit results) and translate findings into clear recommendations and action plans.
  • Track and analyze franchise kiosk performance and operational health; identify root causes of underperformance and partner with Operations to implement corrective actions.
  • Support field operations through travel to host locations to assess execution, validate data, coach best practices, and document follow-up actions.
  • Develop and maintain KPI dashboards and scorecards; establish standard definitions and reporting cadence for network visibility.
  • Support new kiosk openings and transitions by tracking readiness milestones, training completion, and post-launch stabilization metrics.
  • Assist with food safety, sanitation, and brand standards compliance monitoring (including audit readiness and corrective action tracking).
  • Coordinate cross-functionally with Supply Chain, Training, Quality/Food Safety, Finance, and IT to resolve operational issues and improve franchisee support tools.
  • Maintain documentation (SOPs, job aids, playbooks) and contribute to continuous improvement projects that enhance the franchisee/host location experience.
  • Prepare executive-ready summaries for leadership that highlight risks, opportunities, and prioritized initiatives.
