Human Resources Solutions (HRS) supports the human resources needs of the Department of Social Services, the Human Resources Administration, and the Department of Homeless Services through strategic partnership and collaboration, with the goal of creating an inclusive, motivated, and client centered workforce. Human Resources Solutions (HRS) is recruiting for one (1) Associate Staff Analyst to function as the Operations Analyst, Specialized Payroll, who will perform the following: - Assist with the daily operation of the Payroll Specialized Unit. This includes planning, monitoring, implementing and coordinating all tasks and assignments within the Payroll Specialized Unit - Review and Take actions (Arbitrations, Grievances, Retroactive payment, Collective bargaining, etc.) - Review & Reconcile employee’s pay records. - Review, Research and Analyze large volume of inquiries, all payroll related reports, payroll records and paychecks - Coordinate with other Units to ensure actions and compensation meet guidelines, procedures and policies - Oversee and monitor the workflow and processes of assigned payroll projects to ensure accuracy and efficiency - Prepare comprehensive monthly statistical reports - Train staff in auditing, analyzing and researching payroll records - Process payments in a timely manner - Scheduling and coordinating task assignments - Participating in the development, and implementation of Specialized Payroll’s goals and objectives, policies and procedures - Maintain spreadsheets and audit payroll related tracking systems - Attend and participate in meetings, conferences and training courses - Perform all payroll related projects Work Location: 33 Beaver Hours/Schedule: 9 AM – 5 PM
